The Pullen Mill Farm & Vineyard’s wines are a celebration of a simpler, connected way of life, as they carry on the tradition of two centuries of family farming, dating back to 1807, when Thomas and Nancy Gill first settled in Culleoka. Their poplar timbered cabin still stands beside a welling natural “sweet water” spring. Today, the Evans’ family continues to work that same land, raising livestock, tending their garden and growing grapes in a sustainable way.
James and Lindy Evans are known for their passion for wine and love of the community they have found in Tennessee. When you can’t spot them in one of their tasting rooms, you will find them working the farm with the kids. Keeping the tradition of enjoying the fruit of the land alive.
A taste of Italy ... in West Tennessee.
For centuries, West Tennessee has provided fertile ground for abundant agriculture. Today on a hill outside of Humboldt, Crown vineyards stretch to the south and west to create a stunning backdrop to a Tuscan-style villa. Their 28 acre vineyard features 7 varieties of grapes including 5 acres of Sangiovese, a varietal native to Tuscany.
Crown's owners, Scott and Dawn Fallert, continue to cultivate the land to offer a unique contribution to the rich agricultural tapestry of Gibson County.
